It’s always rewarding to see our former students thrive beyond the halls of Charlie Hofmeyr High School. Jo-Marie du Toit, now a first-year student at Stellenbosch University, was recently recognised at the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards as one of the university’s top-performing newcomers.
Jo-Marie is pursuing a BDataScience degree with a focal area in Statistical Genetics and was honoured for her exceptional matric average of 97.66%.
The university shared her achievement on social media, expressing their pride in having her in the AgriSciences faculty and their excitement to see her excel in her academic journey.
At Charlie Hofmeyr, we believe in laying a strong foundation for academic success, and it is always gratifying to see our learners make an impact in higher education. Jo-Marie’s achievement is a reflection of her dedication and perseverance, and we look forward to seeing all she accomplishes in the years ahead.
